How to Play blurrt!
blurrt! is a fast-paced word game where you describe or guess words using clues while racing against the clock. You can team up with friends, take on Blu (our lovable mascot), or try to top the leaderboard in the daily challenge. It's all about quick thinking, smart clues, and just the right amount of chaos.
Game Modes
Daily Challenge (1 game drops every day!)
- Compete with everyone on Blurrt to see who can guess the daily word the fastest.
- You'll get the same set of clues as every other player that day.
- Use Blu's clues to guess each word — the faster you guess, the more XP you earn.
- Climb the leaderboard and see how you rank each day.
- Missed the challenge? You can still play it later with a game token.
- Guessing is timed, each round has a maximum, and you can work through as many words as possible.
Play with Blu (Our Mascot)
- Select from a total of 6 (Object, Nature, Action, World, Person, and Random).
- Blu describes the word, and you guess it.
- It's the perfect way to sharpen your clue-giving skills or just have some fun with Blu's quirky guesses.
- Each game uses 1 token.

Play with Friends
- Choose categories: Select from a total of 6 (Object, Nature, Action, World, Person, and Random).
- Set your rules: Hosts can control round timers, enable or disable spectating, and decide when rounds begin.
- Share the room: Invite others using a room name or code.
- Start the round: One player describes, the others guess.
- Guessing is timed, every player gets a limited number of minutes to guess as many words as possible.
- Sign in to create games and track your game history.
Free Play
- Pick your favorite word category — from famous people to random objects.
- Choose to describe or guess.
- You get 2 free rounds per day, after which you'll need tokens to keep playing.
What Are Game Tokens?
Tokens are used to unlock extra games outside your daily free plays.
You'll need tokens to:
- Replay a missed daily challenge
- Play more than 2 rounds in Free Play
- Start a "Play with Blu" round
You can earn tokens by completing streaks, hitting XP milestones, or buy more in the store.
XP, Streaks & Leaderboards
- Every game you play helps you earn XP.
- The faster and more accurately you guess or describe, the more XP you earn.
- XP helps you level up, unlock badges, and show off your skills.
- You build streaks when you finish daily challenges.
- Compete for the top spot on the daily and weekly leaderboards.
